The present work aimed to evaluate the antihypertensive anti inflammatory analgesic and antipyretic potentials of pumpkin seed oil (PSO) 40 and 100 mg/kg as well as its antiulcerogenic effect in experimental animal. In the current study the possible effects of the daily administration of PSO or amlodipine on the L - NAME - induced hypertension in rats during 6 weeks of treatment were investigated on systolic blood pressure heart rate ECG changes and histopathological examination of heart and aorta
