<br/><br/> All irrigants reduced the bacterial count especially in conjugation with mechanical instrumentation chlorhexidine 0.12% and 0.2% had better antimicrobial effect against enterococcus faecalis than sodium hypochlorite 2.5% chlorhexidine 0.12% and 0.2% demonstrated residual antimicrobial activity after forty-eight hours and seven days
