<br/><br/> the effect of treatment of murine schistosomiasis with a novel compound (BDHQ) administrated alone and combined with PZQ . Oral administrated of BDHQ post infection led to a statistically significant decrease in schistosoma mansoni worm burden and number of ova/g tissue (hepatic and intestinal ). Ultrastructural examination of the treated worms revealed detachment and / or implantation of the spines within the vesiculated and degenerated tegument in all treated groups in comparison to untreated control
