<br/><br/> To investigate the possible effect of orlistat (antiobesity drug) on the rat submandibular salivary gland. The submandibular salivary gland of the rate took 200 mg orlistat /Kg barley were fixed, processed by standard methods and examined by light and transmission electron microscope. There were mild to marked changes in the structure of the submandibular salivary gland depending on the period of orlistat administration
