N2  - The present study deals with Alahrash protectorate, Rafah, Nourth Sinai of 8 km² and 370 km eastern Cairo . It occupies part of the sand dune system between Alarish and Rafah (16 - 57 m. a. s. l. ) and resembles an important from of the Mediterranean coastal environments . Ten randomized quadrats (20 x 20 m) were studied . Acacia saligna (Labill. ) Wendle. is the dominant species associated with few woody trees and some annuals
