N2  - Adriamycin is a potent anticancer agent its clinical use is associated with cardiotoxicity . The present study aimed investigate the possible protective role of the natural antioxidant silymarin on Adriamycin induced heart toxicity . The cardiotoxicity of Adriamycin was manifested by elevated cardiac enzymes ( LDH and CPK ) and increased serum cholesterol and triglycerides
