<br/><br/> Bovine mastitis the mammary gland inflammation due to microbial infection is recognized as one of the most important and costly diseases as it causes severe economic losses to dairy farma . The aim of the present work was the formulation and evaluation of cefuroxime sodium as intramammary injection . Hydrogels and oleogels were suggested as dosage forms for the treatment of bovine mastitis in lactating and dry periods respectively
