N2  - The objective oDGE was diagnosed using solid phase gastric emptying scintigraphy measurement on 14{u036D} {u036A}  postoperative day . The nasogastric tube was removed when the aspirates were had decreased to less than 200 - 300 ml/24 hours . Results :In the two group of patients the overall postoperative hospital mortality rate was 6% and the overall morbidity was 38% . There were no significant statistical differences noted in age sex distribution tumor localization and tumor staging median blood loss and duration of operation . DGE was the most common complication occured in 11 patients of group (A) only  . While in group (B) none of patients experienced this complication
