<br/><br/> The Estern Desert is one of the almost untapped regions in Egypt . One of the promising basins in this region is Wadi Qena . In this study , several scenarios had been presented to evaluate the groundwater potential within the study area . These scenarios propose two well field ( shallow / deep ) with different abstraction rates . For minimizing the drawdown in the well fields other scenarios propose underground dams downstream the proposed well field
