<br/><br/> The aim of the present study was to evaluate the efficacy of subgingival debridement using ultrasonic scaler with perio-tips versus modified widman flap in managing chronic advanced periodontitis. 12 individuals participated in this study. In a split mouth design, patients with periodontal pockets  5mm received ultrasonic debridement (UD) using perio-tips on one side and MWF on the other side
