<br/><br/> The current study included 20 papillary thyroid carcinoma cases 10 follicular carcinoma cases and 10 follicular adenoma cases retrieved as routinely processed paraffin blocks taken from the department of pathology Kasr Eleiny hospital Cario University and from private laboratories . For all specimens some clinical data were available on the computer files including age and sex of the patients and the staging of the thyroidectomy specimens
