Salmonella serovar Typhimurium is a leading cause of foodborne diseases worldwide . Its ability to acquire new antibiotic resistance mechanisms is an increasing therapeutic concern . Antibiotic susceptibility and ESBL detection were investigated by CLSI agar dilution methodology .
