Radiographic investigation plays a major role in exploration of the genitourinary axis, which is principally carried out by ultrasound, genitography, CT and MRI. Ultrasound usually allows visualization of neonatal adrenal glands, which may be enlarged in infants with congenital adrenal hyperplasis.
