<br/><br/> The present study aimed to characterization and evaluation of four local chicken breeds (Fayoumi , Dandarawy Bandarah and Sinai) in Egypt kept different locations based on karyotype and banding patterns . There was variation in area and length of chromosomes among the different locations . There was variation in area length and centromeric index of chromosomes among the four studied breeds
