<br/><br/> Fifty six species under 11 subfamilies and 26 genera in the family Acrididae (except Oedipodinae) from Egypt are reviewed taxonomically. Six species are recorded for the first time from the Egyptian fauna, Duroniella laurae, Duroniella Laticornis, Ochrilidia filicornis, Paracinema tricolor, Sphodromerus pilipes, and Truxalls rubripennis. Keys to subfamilies, genera and species are provided
