Meanings in architecture are all messages conveyed by the built environment to its audience, whether intentionally encoded by the designer or not, these messages vary from messages related to functional issues to more complex ones related to social and philosophical aspects. The study will attempt to understand to what extent, how and why a selected contemporary local cultural building (case study) can simultaneously convey multiple and different layers of meanings to a selected range of different correspondent users types under different interaction condition, as well as the degree of congruence among those meanings and the original intentions of the architects
