The present work was aiming to evaluate the effect of different buffer solutions (NaC1, KC1, CaC1) ₂, NaC1-KC1 mix and C₁₂H₂₂O₁₄Zn) of different molarities on the vero cell biological pattern, cell-Vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) interaction, in addition to the relative effect on the virus infectivity titer. Detection of DNA internucleosomal cleavage clarified that; there were different levels of DNA cleavage that was not correlated to molarity increase except in cases of KCI and C₁₂H₂₂O₁₄Zn where DNA cleavage increased with molarity increase
