N2  - The synthesis of benothiazole and benzimidazole - based palladium precatalysts from easily accessible , inexpensive starting materials , in excellent isolated yields , is described . The Pd - precatalysts were found to exhibit high catalytic activity for C - C bond formation in Suzuki - Miyaura cross - coupling reactions of different aryle and heteroaryl bromides in addition to some novel heteroaromatic bromides with either aryl or heteroaryl boronic acids
