<br/><br/> The intial description vvIBD in Egypt in 1990 was characterized by approximate 100% morbidity and mortalities of 20- 30%  in broiler and 50 -70% in pullets . The field IBDV was detected in BF (bursa of fabricus) of the affected farm by AGPT test . Analysis of deduced amino acid sequences of bursa of challenge in comparison with reference Egyptian IBD strain
