Each group (In {u0363} - {u0364}  and II n {u0363} - {u0364} ) constituted five homologous series differing in their terminal substituent X that changes between  CH₃ O, CH₃, H, CI and NO₂. Within each series the number of carbons in the terminal alkoxy chain varies between 8,10,12,14 and 16
