The objective of the present study is to evaluate the effect of the use of silk suture material compared to cyanoacrylate tissue adhesive on postoperative bleeding , pain , trismus and swelling after the surgical removal of impacted lower mandibular third molar . Twenty patients were subjected to surgical removal of impacted mandibular third molar teeth showing similar bony impaction , inclination and surgical difficulty as assessed clinically and radiographically
