Periodontal disease causes bone loss that commonly requires grafting procedures to restore the normal tooth function . The main objective of this study was to assess modified CaPO₄ biocement ( mCP bioC ) as a new bone - substitute material . Surgically induced , 4mm in diameter , through and through mandibular alveolar ridge defects created in 60 , male albino rats were assigned to 4 groups
