N2  - The aim of the study was evaluate the effect of the palatal coverage of the maxillary overdentures on the supporting structures of the abutment teeth through comparing between two types of the OT Cap maxillary overdentures one with complete palatal coverage and the other with minimal palatal coverage. The abutment teeth were clinically and radiographically evaluated at time of denture insertion, after three months and after six months from denture insertion as regards: (1) the crevicular fluid (2) the poket depth (3) the gingival index (4) the change in the marginal bone height both mesially and distally (5) the change in the abutment position
