<br/><br/> In the search for new cytotoxic agents with improved anticancer profile some new thiazolo [ 4,5 - b ] pyrane and thiazolo [ 4,5 - b ] pyrano [ 2 , 3 - d ] pyrimidine derivatives bearing a free sulfonamide moiety were synthesized . All the newly synthesized target compounds were subjected to in vitro anticancer screening against human breast cancer cell line (MCF - 7 )
