<br/><br/> In this thesis we discuss the theoretical treatment of ternary fission . Our study cases are the Californium isotopes including the various neutron - deficient ( ²³⁸⁻²⁴⁶ Cf ) and the neutron - rich ( ²⁴⁸⁻²⁵⁶ Cf ) ones . The recent proposed Three Cluster Model ( TCM ) is used to explain the particle - accompanied ternary fission of the radioactive Californium parent nuclei
