The main objective of this study is to experimentally investigate the propagation of the flame kernel and provide comprehensive data set for the two different types of fuels and at different velocities. We can conclude that the kernel propagation is governed by both the flow conditions and the fuel type but in the low jet velocity the effect of the fuel type dominates the propagation, while at the higher jet velocity the turbulence fields is the solely dominating parameter ER -
