N2  - Chronic renal failure is one of the highly spread diseases in Egypt . Haemodialysis in its classic form is the most common treatment . In dialysis patients , normocytic and normochromic anemia appears . The reason of this case is multi - factorial although lack of endogenous erythropoietin by diseased kidneys is the most important factor . This can be managed by administrantion of recombinant human erythropoietin after assessment of patient nutrition and iron stores
