<br/><br/> Fluvastatin and chitosan were known to possess osteogenic properties . The present study evaluates the effect on osseointegration of locally applied Fluvatatin alone or combined with chitosan gel . 30 dental implants were inserted in rabbit's tibiae . The animals were assigned into 3 groups . Fluvastatin or fluvastatin \ chitosan gels were injected into osteotomy of first and second groups respectively
