<br/><br/> The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of colloidal silver present in the gelatamp in comparison with gelatin sponge (gelfoam) on postoperative complications (pain,edeina,trismus) after surgical removal of impacted lower third molar mesioangular-classll positions. Patients with age range between 16-45 years (11males, 13 females) complaining from pain at the side of impaction, cases with mesioangular,class H, position B impacted lower third molars vere enrolled in this study
