<br/><br/> A high resolution biostratigraphic analysis has been carried out on the Pliocene - Pleistocene sequence of the offshore Nile Delta region . The study is based upon the detailed examination of ditch cutting samples and well logs data from three wells ; Sapphire - Da , Sapphire - Db and Sapphire - De . The study area is located in West Delta Deep Marine Concession ( WDDM ) in the deep offshore area of the Nile Delta , Egypt
