This study shows reduction in the intensity of pain and the need of other medication even after 24 hours . Decreased pain is a well established benefit of using the infiltration of lidocaine intraincisional and intraperitoneal postlaparoscopic cholecystectomy when comparing it with the systemic injection of NSAIDs
