<br/><br/> Gingival enlargement is usually caused by local condition such as poor oral hygiene, food impaction, or mouth breathing, systemic conditions such as hormonal changes, drug therapy, or tumor infiltration may complicate the process. There are many modalities for the treatment of gingival enlargement. The most widely performed is the conventional gingivectomy by using the scalpel. Other modalities include laser assisted gingivectomy
