<br/><br/> This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of implant abutment diameter on stress distribution in implant supported mandibular overdentures using strain gauge analysis. An acrylic model was constructed representing completely edentulous case. On this model, two implants were placed in the canine regions, upon which two overdentures supported by ball and socket attachment (abutment) connecting the two implants were constructed
