<br/><br/> Membrane computing is a fast growing research area in the field of molecular computing it is inspired by living biological cells . Membrane computing defines new computational models called membrane systems or P systems which define the biological cell as a computing device . They are constructed of membranes separated by regions representing different compartments of a cell, and in each region there are processing rules applied on some data objects simulating biological processes inside the cell
