A high - performance computer code for the simulation of beam dynamics in electron linear accelerator (linac) has developed that offers a fast and accurate self - consistent solution of realistic electron linacs . The code is developed using C - language and is named Particle Tracking Code in C (PTCC) . PTCC is a 3D program that solves the relativistic equations of motion for the macro - particles when subject to electromagnetic fields excited in RF cavities
