In some human cancers, the Notchl receptor and signaling pathway is upregulated, which increases the oncogenic potential of the cell through prevention of differentiation and inhibition of apoptosis. So, from this aspect we evaluated the effect of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and a novel curcumin derivative (NCD) on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) both in vivo in hepatoma induced animal model in rats and in vitro on HepG2 cells (hepatoma cell line)
