Objectives : To determine the prevalence of infections to describe their site complications and to analyze their risk factors in adults with SLE. This study involved two hundred and fifty consecutive SLE patients attending the Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Department in Cairo University hospitals during the period from September 2010 to March 2011 .
