<br/><br/> The aim of study was to analyze beam pumping system problems encountered in Agiba Company during last ten years ending with modified design rules that were learnt . Total failure frequency dropped from 4 to 2.25 failures / well / year. Atotal system down time improvement of 43% together with production losses saving of 44% was achieved. A simple friendly expert system was developed and validated to diagnose and troubleshoot system problems
