The layered LiMnNiCoO₂ cathode materials were synthesized by oxalate co-precipitation and sol-gel methods which are powerful, low cost and easy preparation methods for large scale production. Preliminary electrochemical results showed that sol-gel sample is better than co-precipitated one.
