The present study was performed to give an overview on the hazardous effects of acrylamide administration in rats and the beneficial role of the antioxidant lipoic acid to overcome the deleterious action of acrylamide intoxication. The study was conducted in rats intoxicated with acrylamide in a dose of 5 mg/kg/day and treated with liopic acid in a dose of 100mg/kg /day throughout the assessment of some clinicopathological parameters as hematological
