<br/><br/> This study aimed at evaluating the effect of omega-3-polyunsaturated fatty acids (-3-PUFAs) on isoprenaline (ISP) induced rat myocardial fibrosis. Thirty two rats were included and divided into 5 groups: group 1 (control group) included 8 rats. Group II (omega-3 group): 5rats received oral -3-PUFAs at a dose of 40 mg/ kg /day for 8 weeks. Group III (ISP group): 5 rats received ISP at a dose of 5 mg/kg /day S.C for 4 consecutive days.
