Family Rosaceae occupies a prominent position in the plant kingdom. It is a medium-sized family of flowering plants, including 3200 species in 115 genera (Kumar 2009), distributed all over the world among the largest genera are Alchemilla (270), Sorbus (260), Crataegus (260), Cotoneastr (260), and Rubus (250). The largest genus by far is prunus plums, cherries, peaches, apricots and almonds) with about 430 species stevens, P. F. 2001 onwards
