The thesis proposes a three phase model for DFIG in steady state to get the performance of the DFIG by studying the effect of variation of the injected voltage in the rotor, also using the mathematical model to get the P-Q characteristics in general case and also during maximum power tracking . The response of the DFIG wind turbine system to grid disturbances is simulated, during short circuits (3LG) and also voltage sags
