<br/><br/> In this study, a ten patients of post-traumatic thumb fingertip injuries were selected to undergo reconstruction by mean of first dorsal metacarpal artery island flap (kite flap), and full thickness skin graft to donor site were performed. Evaluation of the results of this flap was done by, preservation of both form and function of the thumb, donor site morbidity, cosmetic appearance, complications, sensibility regain and satisfaction of both the patient and the surgeon on different time scale periods
