N2  - During october 2010, Egypt reported an outbreak of acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis in the delta region. A total of 1831 cases were reported from three governorates; 1703 cases in Eldaqahliya, 92 cases in Port Said, and 36 in Damietta. Representative samples were collected by the ministry of health and population from patients with conjunctivitis from Eldaqahliya governorate to determine the etiology of this outbreak
