In this study, we investigated the possible protective effects of rosuvastatin in Egyptian patients with stable or unstable angina undergoing PCI. Results: In our study, we found that loading dose of rosuvastatin 20 mg was associated with a reduction of periprocedural myonecrosis more than chronic statin therapy and both of them were associated with a reduction of periprocedural myonecrosis more than non-statins users in patients with stable or unstable angina ER -
