The main objectives of this research are to investigate experimentally the deterioration symptoms of north shore protection concrete blocks, and develop an artificial neural network able to predict concrete deterioration and simplify its use through developing a graphic user interface (GUI). Concrete deterioration is quantified by mechanical erosion of concrete, carbonation depth, and chloride and sulfate ingress profiles
