<br/><br/> The use of surgical technique for transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block in children undergoing splenectomy provides rapid, simple, reliable and easy approach of TAP block with fewer requirements of high skills or extra equipments needed in ultrasound guided approach.There was no recorded complications in all patients who received TAP block either intra or postoperatively. Patient and parent satisfaction was markedly observed in case of TAP block regarding pain relief
