Periodontitis is an inflammatory infectious disease of the peridontium. Aggrissive periodontitis is a relatively rare, sever and rapidly progressive form of periodontitis, characterized by rapid loss of alveolar bone, early age of onset (circumpubertal) and tendency for familial aggregation, more common in females than males, it has the localized and generalized form. The amount of destruction manifested is not proportionated with the amount of local irritants present. Conventional treatment depends always on the concept of plaque control and bacterial eradication by means of nonsurgical and/or surgical therapy. Scaling and root planning as the basic periodontal treatment has its limitations, so new treatment modalities are needed, to be used as an adjunct to conventional treatment or as a treatment of its own
