To evaluate balance in post - stroke hemiparetic patients and to determine the ability of using brunel balance assessment (BBA) as a valid, reliable, and sensitive scale to assess balance impairment in post - stroke hemiparetic patients. Balance was evaluated in 30 post - stroke hemiparetic patients (G1) in comparison to 30 healthy age - matched subjects (G2) to detect balance impairment in stroke patients. Validity of BBA was assessed by comparing the BBA items with corresponding test parameters of balance Master (BM) system. Intra - rater reliability was evaluated by applying BBA on G1 and re - applied it again after two hours in the same day. Brunel balance assessment and BM tests were repeated after three weeks for G1 to test the scale sensitivity ER -
